On rugby.

July 13, 2021

Playing rugby as a transgender woman saved my life. It gave me an immediate community of support, pushed me to better myself physically and emotionally, and connected me to a global community of queer and trans athletes fighting for their right to participate.

Between World Rugby’s transphobic ban of elite trans women, to over 100 anti-trans bills introduced targeting kids in the US this year, we’re tired of being used as political pawns. Sports should be a place of belonging, never exclusion.
